Admissions: Guidance for School Governing Bodies

A revised statutory School Admissions Code came into force in December 2014. All maintained schools and academies are obliged to act in accordance with its provisions.

The current School Admissions Code of December 2014 can be obtained from the DfE website.

Attached to this page are sample school admission arrangements which are intended as guidance to assist schools to form their own policies. The documents include:
