On 5th July the Education Service recognised the outstanding service of over 40 individuals who have served Catholic education in our Diocese. Teaching staff, support staff, governors and Headteachers were represented from across our 209 schools. The evening included a special Mass at Westminster Cathedral followed by a reception on the roof terrace of the Passage. We were delighted that the evening was such a success and well received. It was a fitting tribute to be able to thank so many individuals for their years of service and commitment to Catholic education on behalf of His Eminence Cardinal Vincent Nichols and the Diocesan Education Commission.
